Do you ever have days that you don’t know how you’re going to do it.  It doesn’t matter what “it” is – “it” could be:

– affording groceries or paying your every day bills;

– juggling being a work-from-home-teacher mom (or dad!) during this unprecedented time;

– seeing the hope in such a grim and seemingly hopeless situation;

– giving one more ounce of effort to anyone (and I really do mean anyone) who asks.

Well, scripture reminds us to live by faith, not by sight.

What does that look like?  It looks like Noah.  There he was, building an arc to save him from something (rain) that had never happened before on Earth, putting his complete faith in God, displaying an unwavering obedience.  And boy did it pay off.

Life got you troubled right now?  Things not going as planned?  Take your worries and anxieties to God and live by faith, not sight.  Go out on a limb; be prepared for others’ to: think you look silly, talk about you, mock you, or doubt you.

But don’t waver.

And, don’t live your life trying to please anyone except God. Your journey is between you and Him, not anyone else. You mustn’t be concerned about what other people think. Let God use your trial and struggle as a testimony for just how good the great I AM is.

If you live your life in a way that is pleasing to Our Lord, every little thing, is going to be alright. It’s His promise. Trust that God is ALWAYS working for your greater good, even if you don’t understand it (Proverbs 3:5).

Tonight, commit to being a Noah.

Sleep tight, friends!
