How do I find …
Joy?
My life’s purpose?
Peace?
Love?
The list goes on and on. However, no matter what you’re searching for, or how you fill in the blank, the answer will always be God.
God is the answer.
“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls” (1 Peter 1:8-9, NIV).
“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails” (Proverbs 19:21, NIV).
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7, NIV).
“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” (1 John 4:8, NIV).
Without God, you will not be fulfilled. You will not find joy. You will not find your life’s purpose. You will not find peace. And, you certainly will not find love; true, authentic, pure love.
If you feel you’re at the end of your road, or you feel like you’ve tried it all, turn to God. He will meet you right where you are, my friends.
